3rd ANNUAL MALARIA RUN WALK FREDERICKSBURG 2008

Rain or Shine, we walk, run, and sponsor because every 30 seconds a child dies from malaria in Africa. Each of us is blessed with the power to help end the tragedy of malaria that continues to ruin the lives of defenseless children, women, and men across Africa by walking, running, sponsoring, or by simply making contribution to fight against malaria. Help us reach our goal: Provide 2000 bed nets by July 2008. $10= the cost and delivery of one (1) bed net (PermaNet® 2.0)

Empowering The Poor’s Founder & President, Darius Coulibaly presented 250 PermaNet® 2.0 (insecticide-treated bed nets) to Nana Kudumoah, Chief of Prince’s Town, Ghana (July 2007)

Demonstration of how to use the bed nets (Prince’s Town, Ghana, July 2007)

We (Empowering the Poor) provide PermaNet® 2.0 to the communities we serve.
PermaNet® 2.0 is the most effective bed net (last 4 years), and recommended by the World Health Organization.

Register now to the Malaria Run Walk and you automatically become a Winner as you save the lives of defenseless children against the silent tragedy of malaria.
