Our threefold education program seeks to enhance literacy and academic ability in poor communities; provide disease education to prevent the spread of infectious diseases; and provide students with a voice and platform to make a difference in their own community and abroad.
Our healthcare program focuses on the world’s deadliest diseases: HIV/AIDS and malaria. Our goal is to equip poor communities with effective prevention and treatment opportunities to combat AIDS and Malaria, while building local health capacity.
The goal of our microfinance program is to provide a social and economic safety net to poor women through microloans ($25-$200) integrated with financial, health, and general literacy. Our program targets primarily women because they bear the brunt of poverty, and empowering a woman is empowering a family, a village, and future generations.
